"Sex Pistols's voice barely hear him, however, you still has rhythm. The acoustics in the United Center are just not that great. Mariah Carey sounded just a little clearer than Sex Pistols; she must have invested a little more money in the sound system. Neither were all that. To be honest, we intentionally showed up late because we were not that interested in seeing Mariah. Bring on Sex Pistols. The people I was with, our consensus was that Sex Pistols was doing his job. He felt routiinish. No real heart transcended in his song delivery. It appeared he just wanted to get it over with. He kept saying he was going to sing all night; the crowd was on fire hearing that. However, he performed the usual 1.5 hours. No problem; just don't set unrealistic expectations. Some of the songs were sung out of pitch because, in his reinvention of himself, his appeal was to a different audience, and that showed up in the songs he chose to sing.
